Business as un-usual

Now that UK lockdown restrictions are beginning to ease and private sector hospitals are starting to resume their pre-Coronavirus services, we are delighted to be back in our consulting rooms and able to welcome patients to our practice once more.

The “new normal” has meant a number of noticeable changes to the way we work to help to prevent any further spread of the virus. These changes are as new to us as staff as they are to you as patients and relatives, and we ask for your patience and understanding during the transition process as we get used to the new policies and procedures we are required to follow for everyone’s safety.

We are continuing to consult remotely (by phone and video) and for high risk patients this is still the method of choice nationwide. We are now able to offer face-to-face appointments once again, but with certain restrictions – patients must attend alone for their appointment, be prepared to wear a mask for the duration of their time in the building and expect to be temperature checked on the door. Consultation times may be shorter and availability not quite as flexible as usual while we build in time to thoroughly clean the consulting room between patients, but, as ever, we will always do our best to be as accommodating as possible.

Please do not hesitate to get in touch with us if you have any queries and we look forward to being in touch with you in the near future.
